Introduction to the vacant position:
The Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches Group is looking for a motivataed early-career research assistant with experience in organic synthesis to work in DOPAMAP project to develop novel photoswitchable modulators of dopamine receptors. The candidate mast hold a Master´s degree in Pharmaceutics/Medicinal Chemistry/Organic chemistry.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Design of novel photoswitchable modulators of dopamine receptors
- Development of synthetic approaches and synthesis of novel photoswitchable modulators of dopamine receptors.
- Photochemical characterization of novel photoswitchable modulators of dopamine receptors.
Requirements for candidates:
Essential:
- Master´s degree in Pharmaceutics/ Medicinal chemistry/ Organic chemistry
- Knowledge and experience in handling and synthesis of photoswitchable molecules is required.
- Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
- High level of English
Advantageous:
- Experience in in vivo or in vitro testing of photoswitchable compounds.
