Introduction to the vacant position:
The Bioengineering in Reproductive Health is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to apply microfabrication and microfluidic techniques to upgrade the proprietary biomimetic implantation platform to promote embryonic development. The project will also entail the study the mechanical properties of implanting embryos into the ex vivo platform.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Advanced microscopy
- Immunofluorescence
- Mechanical characterization of implanting embryos
- Microfabrication
Requirements for candidates:
Essential:
- PhD on Biology/Physics/Biotechnology
- Previous experience in advanced imaging techniques and mechanobiology
- Competencies and skills: Communication, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
- High level of English
Advantageous:
- Experience in embryo handling and culture microfabrication will be valued.

- Full time 1-year labor contract. Open ended. Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
