As part of its first ever Faster Future campaign, which since November has been raising money for the development of a ‘muscle-on-a-chip’ that uses a patient’s own cells to study diseases like Justin’s, IBEC has clubbed together with Cinesa Diagonal to offer this exclusive screening on Thursday at 19h30.
The film will be preceded by an introduction to IBEC and Faster Future by IBEC Director Josep Samitier, who will be accompanied by IBEC group leader and head researcher in the project, Javier Ramon, to discuss the technology and answer questions.
Tickets for the night cost €7, and all proceeds will help the Faster Future campaign hit its target of €25,000 and help make this medicine of the future a reality.
