Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
– Fabrication of elastic, hydrogel-based flagellated robots by microfabrication and 3D printing
– optimize their actuation and performance in complex environments
– create cell-delivery machines by bioprinting cells into/onto the flagellated robots
Requirement for candidates:
Master in engineering or science, preferably in the field of biomedical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry or bioengineering.
A bonus is experience in microrobotics, bioprinting, microfabrication and magnetic actuation.
Expected are a high level of English, excellent communication and writing skills, teamwork ability, analytical and critical thinking and enthusiasm for the project.
