The Integrative cell and tissue dyamics group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for Laboratory Senior Technician to participate on the project Mechanobiology of collective cell migration during haptotaxis and durataxis: application to intestinal organoids. (mGRADIENT ).
The Biosensors for Bioengineering group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for Pre-doctoral Researcher in order to work in the project BENCHTOP NMR FOR LAB-ON-CHIP (BLOC), FET open. This position will be funded by H2020 European Union programme.
The IMEM Group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher with broad experience in (Bio)Materials, Nanotechnology and Polymers/Biopolymers to develop a project on the development of (bio)polymeric materials for biomedical applications. The contract will be within the framework of IMEM-BRT research lines, whose objective is the development of new materials for regenerative therapies.
Specifically, the project involves the study of hydrogels as versatile platforms for specific (bio)applications using new chemistries, cell-friendly polymers (biopolymers and degradable synthetic polymers) and advanced manufacturing technologies. The research will involve three different areas that derive from the function, features, and source of hydrogels and, consequently, will require a wide range of skills (as per below).

The Integrative cell and tissue dyamics group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for Predoctoral Researcher to participate in the study of the mechanobiology of hepatic stellate cells and its contribution to liver fibrosis.
The Nanobioengineering> group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Predoctoral researcher.
We offer an interesting and challenging job in an international and interdisciplinary environment. We encourage suitably qualified candidates to apply for a position funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie project “EVIDENCE” within the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union, starting on January 2020. The appointment will be on a temporary basis for a maximum period of 3 years (PhD student) and will be placed at the Nanobioengineering group of IBEC (Barcelona, Spain).
EVIDENCE is a four-year project, funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 Programme (MSCA-ITN-2019) under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Initial Training Network and Grant Agreement No. 860436. EVIDENCE is the exploration of the properties and behaviour of RBCs under flow conditions and in vivo to understand pathophysiology and to design novel diagnostic devices. EVIDENCE engaged in with the ambition to educate and train students within and across different scientific disciplines: biophysics (electrophysiology), biochemistry (membrane biology, metabolism), biomedical science (e.g., expansion and differentiation of erythroblasts), bioengineering and cell biology (organ on a chip), clinical research and diagnostics, with SME.
