El IBEC es nombrado Centro de Excelencia en el campo de la Salud en el nuevo informe de la CE

reportecLa Dirección General de la Comisión Europea para la Investigación y la Innovación, ha publicado un nuevo informe que identifica al Instituto de Bioingeniería de Catalunya (IBEC) como Centro de Excelencia Europeo en el campo de la salud.

En el informe, el IBEC aparece en la tabla junto a otros 27 Centros de Excelencia en Europa clasificados en las nueve áreas del H2020: Nanotecnología, Fotónica, Fabricación avanzada, ITC/Seguridad Cibernética, Salud, Alimentación/Agricultura/Silvicultura, Energía, Transporte y Clima/Recursos, donde el IBEC destaca por ser el único en España.

Pere RocaPere Roca-Cusachs, investigador principal junior del IBEC y profesor agregado de la Universidad de Barcelona (UB), ha sido aceptado en el prestigioso Programa Joven Investigador EMBO.

EMBO, la Organización Europea de Biología Molecular, escoge los mejores investigadores principales de Europa mediante una selección anual muy competitiva. Pere Roca defendió su plan de investigación para los próximos cinco años frente a un panel internacional a principios de octubre en Heidelberg, Alemania.
