Un proyecto del IBEC entre los 44 financiados por AXA
La AXA Research Fund, la iniciativa de filantropía científica internacional de la aseguradora AXA, ha anunciado de forma oficial que la semana pasada dedicará 15.6 m € en 2016 a 44 nuevos proyectos de investigación con las principales instituciones académicas de 16 países.
El proyecto del IBEC de dos años, «Novel approaches for Pandemic Virus Targeting Using Adaptive Polymers», está dirigido por el nuevo responsable de grupo júnior Lorenzo Albertazzi y tiene como objetivo aprovechar la nanotecnología para introducir una nueva clase de herramientas para luchar contra los virus. Este y los otros 43 nuevos proyectos se anunciaron el pasado viernes en un evento en París, que reunió a ejecutivos y expertos de AXA, miembros de la comunidad científica AXA Research Fund y socios académicos así como otras partes interesadas.
