The Signal and Information Processing for Sensing Systems group led by Dr. Santi Marco at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Research Technician founded through an industrial project.
El evento acogió a más de 75 científicos, médicos y otros representantes internacionales, provenientes de centros como el ETH Zürich y la Organización Mundial de la Salud, el IBM Research o el Hospital Clinic. Bajo el lema «Bioingeniería para un Envejecimiento Saludable: añadiendo vida a los años», presentaron y examinaron posibles soluciones que la bioingeniería puede proporcionar para abordar los desafíos que enfrenta una población que envejece.
El evento se inauguró con una sesión que revisó los desafíos y las oportunidades del rápido crecimiento de los grupos de mayor edad, un gran desafío social que tendrá un gran impacto en la atención de la salud.
Durante la entrevista, Samuel Sánchez explicó porqué era relevante diseñar métodos eficaces para liberar el fármaco en una diana concreta, y a qué retos se enfrentaban en el diseño de nanorobots con esta función.
