Una rehabilitación de alta intensidad impulsa la recuperación después de un ictus
Un análisis retrospectivo realizado por investigadores del Instituto de Bioingeniería de Cataluña (IBEC) y del University College London (UCL) concluye que una terapia de alta intensidad realizada dentro de los 6 meses posteriores a un ictus, ofrece los mejores resultados de rehabilitación. Estos resultados sugieren que los protocolos de tratamiento estándar aplicados por muchos sistemas de salud para pacientes de ictus deberían ser reanalizados.
