Un nuevo tipo de nanomotores mejora la inmunoterapia contra el cáncer de vejiga
A study led by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) and Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea describes the development of urea-powered nanomotors that improve immunotherapy for bladder cancer. The nanomotors activate the immune system more efficiently and exceed the efficacy of currently used treatments, opening up new possibilities in oncology.

La spin-off del IBEC Nanobots Therapeutics ha sido seleccionada en la convocatoria 2024 de ayudas AECC IMPACTO. Se trata de una iniciativa de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) dirigida a microempresas y PYMES de base tecnológica que busca acelerar la llegada de nuevos tratamientos al ámbito clínico. Hoy ha tenido lugar la entrega de las ayudas en Barcelona.
