Es el cuarto año consecutivo que la plataforma acoge la conferencia, que se celebró en la sede de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) en Barcelona y fue inaugurada por Laureano Molins, presidente de AECC Cataluña y Josep Samitier de IBEC/NanoMed Spain, quien también hizo una presentación sobre la plataforma. Las últimas innovaciones en nanomedicina para el cáncer fueron presentadas y discutidas frente a una audiencia de más de 50 investigadores, clínicos, estudiantes y profesionales de la industria.
«Magnet, alianzas para el éxito educativo» es un programa que une durante 4 años los centros educativos que tienen una composición social desequilibrada con una institución de excelencia. Esta unión permitirá al centro educativo desarrollar un proyecto innovador para que se convierta en un proyecto de referencia en su territorio.
La reorganización de estos componentes permite dos mecanismos de migración celular.

The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Postdoc position to develop his/her project on the development of a physiological in vitro model of the small intestine to study microbiome-epithelial interactions.
The contract will be within the framework of the project “Engineering complex models of intestinal epithelium”, whose objective is the development of tissue-like models of intestinal tissue that can be used in basic research, disease modelling, host-pathogen interaction studies, and regenerative medicine.
IBEC seeks a Head of Communications and Public Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and executing an overall strategy to enhance and project IBEC’s international reputation as a world-class center of excellence in bioengineering, advanced training, innovation and public engagement.
The Head of Communications and PR runs a team of 3 people and reports to the Managing Director and is part of the Institute’s senior management team.
