Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
• Electrical Characterization of Organic Electronic Devices
• Design and fabricate a set up to carry out electrostatic force microscopy measurement on a functional device
• Development of a software that enables in-situ real time EFM imaging during the operation the organic device
• Development of specific imaging and spectroscopic measuring modes and the optimization of the imaging speed and sensitivity
Requirements for candidates:
Essential:
• Bachelor(BSc) and Master (MSc) on Physics/ Chemistry/ Nanotechnology/ Electronic Engineer/Material Science or related field
• Knowledge on Scanning Probe Microscopy techniques is a plus.
• Experience on electrical characterization of devices (transistor) is a plus.
• Programming skills: MATLAB/ Python/ C++.
• Self-critical, capacity to learn and bring knowledge
• Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking
• High level of English
Mobility rule:
• The researcher must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of his/her host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to his/her recruitment.
• Short stays, such as holidays, are not considered.
• Exceptions International Organisations: Eligible researcher must not have spent more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the date of selection in the same appointing international organisation.
Admission Criteria for ESRs:
• ESR shall at the date of recruitment by the host organisation, be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC is an interdisciplinary research center focused on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine based in Barcelona.
