Introduction to the vacant position:
The Nanobioelec Group (www.ibecbarcelona.eu/nanobioelec) is looking for a Post-doctoral Researcher to develop automated methods for in-liquid scanning dielectric microscopy. The contract will be within the framework of the research line on Scanning Probe Microscopy methods and techniques to map the electrical properties of cells.
The successful candidate will develop research involving:
- The development of a user-friendly interface and user manual for the automated scanning dielectric microscope in electrolyte solutions.
- The development of a user-friendly interface and user manual for the bacth processing software tool for automated scanning dielectric microscopy data in electrolyte solutions.
Requirements for candidates:
Essential:
- Bachelor (BSc), Master (MSc) and PhD Degree on Physics/Engineering/Biomed and related fields
- Self-critical, capacity to learn and bring knowledge
- Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking
- High level of English
Advantageous:
- Previous experience in the automatization of scanning probe microscopy systems will be a plus.
- Previous experience in the development of batch processing software tools for scanning probe microscopy will be a plus.
- Previous experience in in-liquid scanning dielectric microscopy.
