Introduction to the vacant position:
The Biomaterials for regenerative therapies Group is looking for a research assistant position to work in regeneration and radioprotection of mucosal tissues using biomaterial delivery systems. Research in the Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies group is devoted to the development and knowledge transfer to industry and innovative biomaterials and scaffolds for tissue regeneration.
Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
- Fabrication of drug-delivery systems
- Mechanical and chemical characterization of developed delivery systems
- In vitro biological testing
- 3D Biological models
- Design and fabrication of lab-on-a-chip and microfluidic devices.
- Writing scientic papers and reports
- Interpreting results in written reports and oral presentations.
Requirements for candidates:
- Degree and Master on Chemistry , Nanotechnology or Materials Engineering
- Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
- High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Advantageous:
Previous experience in biomaterial fabrication and cell culture techniques will be a plus.

- Full-time 1 year contract. Salary will be commensurate with the academic level and experience.
