In his speech, the Secretary General of Digital Health, Information and Innovation from the Spanish Ministry of Health, Alfredo González Gómez, wanted to highlight that health aims to achieve the “real” implementation of Precision Medicine in public health. To achieve this objective, plans designed and shared with all the actors involved will be deployed, and framed in a Precision Medicine Strategy in the medium and long term.
The Government “is going to make profitable in an inclusive and collaborative way with the autonomous communities” the scientific investment made, mainly through the Carlos III Health Institute, to achieve a “real” implementation of Precision Medicine in the National Health System (SNS).
