Conceived by IBEC and IQS researcher Jordi Duran, the documentary “Fighting the rare ” explains how scientific research was carried out on the minority disease called Lafora disease. The documentary shows how this disease evolves until the death of the patients. Until a few years ago the cause was not known, and thanks to the research it was identified, thus opening the way to find a treatment. The documentary can be seen on their website.
