Prof. Stupp participated with a keynote talk about this subject at the 3rd IBEC Symposium on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine. He is the director of the Institute for BioNanotechnology in Medicine, Northwestern University, USA.

The Spanish leader of daily newspapers for doctors, Diario Médico, interviews Prof. Toshihiro Akaike, one of the keynote speakers of the 3rd IBEC Symposium on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine. He explains his research about biomaterials and the control for the celular function and behavior.

International experts on bioengineering, regenerative medicine and nanodiagnostics met in Barcelona to present their latest results to the scientific community. At the Symposium, young researchers have had the opportunity to promote their work.

IBEC is one of the institutions and reseach centers that it is included in the proposal for creating a large health campus in Barcelona.
