IBEC’s Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches research group challenged students at the Fundació Eduard Soler (FES) of Ripoll as part of a research project with photosensitive molecules. One of the students, Gerard Pérez, developed a prototype as part of his final project. This prototype made it possible to improve experimental measurements. Subsequently, IBEC has proposed an improvement to this prototype to adjust it to emerging experimental requirements.
