IBEC’s Robotics group leader Alícia Casals features in an online article in Science Careers magazine, the careers component of the journal Science.
In the article, which is about the ‘pragmatic, problem-solving orientation and multidisciplinary exposure [of] biomedical engineers’ Alícia quoted as an example of a scientist whose work is at the intersection of several disciplines. “Anyone can enter because the field is so wide,” she says. “You have to fight and work well to get funds and jobs, but it’s a promising and expanding area.”
