In the Nano Workshop, “Nanoinventum”, primary school students teamed up to design and build their own nanorobot. The workshop was complemented by Samuel’s talk, who described the nanorobots he is developing with the help of his team at IBEC and their collaborators at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Germany.
Gabriel, for his part, introduced advanced microscopy to the students through his talk “Microscopis per les ciències de la vida: de la micro a la nanoescala”. Afterwards, the students attended several workshops on nanotechnology, among which IBEC’s, entitled “Nanomedicina del futur”, introduced them to the advances in nanotechnology that apply to medicine.
