This year, the day-long event will take place close to home at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona (ETSEIB) at Av. Diagonal 647, but as in previous editions of the sympsosium, we will welcome some of the top names in bioengineering and nanomedicine from far and wide.
Keynote speakers at the event will be former IBEC director Josep A. Planell; group leader George Altankov; new ISC members Bernat Soria from the Andalusian Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine Centre (CABIMER) and Jocelyne Troccaz from the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS); and Albert van den Berg of the University of Twente.
The annual symposium, which is IBEC’s major event of the year and provides an open forum for interdisciplinary discussions and networking, will be preceded by a meeting of IBEC’s Board of Trustees on 6th May and followed by an International Scientific Committee meeting on 9th-10th May.
