The new 700 m2 space located on floors 8, 9, and 10 of Tower I in the Barcelona Science Park will accommodate more than 50 researchers from four of the foundation’s research lines -Biomechanics and Mechanobiology, Robotics, Artificial Olfaction, and Processing and Interpretation of Biomedical Signals. The proximity of the new facility to the current IBEC research center in the same complex will facilitate interdisciplinary exchange, promote internal cohesion, and strengthen relationships within the IBEC community as a whole.
