IBEC has co-organised the “Specific Session” on Nanobiotechnology in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, which will be chaired by Prof. Josep Samitier, IBEC´s Associate Director and Nanobioengineering Group leader, and with the participation of Dr Laura Fumagalli (Nanoscale Bioelectrical Characterization Group) as one of the speakers.
The institute will also be presenting its activities at the Catalonia Macro-Stand, along with other centres and companies, all of them contributors to the increasing importance of the Catalonian region in the nano R&D scenario at Spanish and European level, and according to the organisers, the reason behind the choice of Barcelona to celebrate this significant 10th edition.
