During the 13th IBEC Symposium, the keynote speaker Robert Langer, Professor of the Technological Institute of Massachusetts (MIT) and Director of its biomedical engineering laboratory, gave an interview to the journalist Cristina Sáez for the SINC agency.
Langer, who participated in the annual symposium about Bioengineering for health, organized by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), this year focused on precision medicine, is considered the father of intelligent drug delivery, for the development of new materials such as polymers, nanoparticles or chips that allow the controlled distribution of drugs throughout the human body.
In the interview he talks about the many applications and advances during this pandemic to fight against the covid.
I firmly believe in this: If you do things that are beneficial to society, many times the money will follow.
